VHHS- Where Are They Now?

I'm only a few states away from Melissa (in Illinois, an hour north of Chicago) and as the first snow falls this morning, I'm wondering why I live in such a place. Most of the time it is really wonderful and I love the change of season, but having grown up in Southern California, I'm not used to this freezing weather! You would think that after 12 years, I'd get used to it...
I live with my hubby Lyle, daughter Courtney (15), dog Ranger, and two cats, Snickers and Hershey.
I received my Master's degree last May and am officially a librarian - who would have guessed? My goal is to be a public library director, preferrably a small to medium sized one with a library cat. I've been the Administrative Services Coordinator at my library for over 10 years now. It's ALWAYS interesting!

It is great to hear from you. Wow...a librarian? I wouldn't of guessed it in a million years. Congratulations on the Master's degree!
So are you or your husband the chocolate lover? With cat names like Snickers and Hershey, one just has to assume.

Actually, Hershey came to us with a name but when we got Snickers, we *had* to have a candy name to go with Hershey. Snickers is aptly named, as he is HUGE (23 lbs)!
Not to say that we don't love chocolate!
