Hey Melissa!

Great idea...Let's see, once I graduated, two weeks later I was in the Army where I served 4 years as a Military Police Officer at Ft. Wainwright, Alaska. Alaska is the most beautiful place to visit in the summertime. I would not suggest it in the winter.

After I got out of the military, I moved to San Diego and became a San Diego Police Officer where I have been for over 12 years. I love the job. It is definitely different everyday and you get to meet the craziest people. There is plenty of humor to go around and you wouldn't believe some of the things crooks come up with.

I met my wife Elissa a few years ago in Las Vegas, (the saying what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas, didn't apply to me. I brought it home.) and we have a beautiful daughter, Samantha, who will be 1 next month.

Anyways, enough of that. Take care and thanks again.

First and foremost, I'd like to thank Melissa for conjuring up this great idea...I often wonder about my fellow "Don" classmates..so Kudos to you dearest Melissa...

I'm still in Sunny California---but further South--in San Diego. I live with my husband, Raciel and our lovely daughter, Zielo, who arrived this past June.

I currently work at American Express as a travel consultant (I've been doing this for the past 16 years! Can you tell that I love to travel???)

In 2003, I finally finished my bachelor's degree from CSU Long Beach---yes can you believe how insane I am?? I drove twice a week from San Diego to the LBC!!! I would have liked to have finished my degree earlier but I was too busy traipsing the globe for my job!

Our favorite pastime, yep you guessed it, playing volleyball. I still do this at least 4 times a week. It was tough not playing whilst I was pregnant, so I was coaching volleyball instead...I still needed to touch the ball!

I will be interested in seeing how many other people LOG on!

To reiterate---good job, Melissa...Be sure to say "hi" to Chuck for me...I'm sure he'll remember his nutty next door neighbor!

I'm only a few states away from Melissa (in Illinois, an hour north of Chicago) and as the first snow falls this morning, I'm wondering why I live in such a place. Most of the time it is really wonderful and I love the change of season, but having grown up in Southern California, I'm not used to this freezing weather! You would think that after 12 years, I'd get used to it...

I live with my hubby Lyle, daughter Courtney (15), dog Ranger, and two cats, Snickers and Hershey.

I received my Master's degree last May and am officially a librarian - who would have guessed? My goal is to be a public library director, preferrably a small to medium sized one with a library cat. I've been the Administrative Services Coordinator at my library for over 10 years now. It's ALWAYS interesting!

VHHS- Where Are They Now?

Since no one has come forward yet, I guess I will be the first. Hi, my name is Melissa Galbreath and I am a Verdugo Hills High School alumnus. There see, that wasn't so hard.

I am currently residing in Bellevue Nebraska with my husband Charles, my daughter Emily (14), my son Jonathan (12), and my dog Baron (77). We have lived here for about a year and a half. Where is Bellevue? Although we are not in Kansas anymore Toto, we are pretty darn close. Bellevue is a suburb of Omaha, where the corn grows wild and the cattle roam free. Okay, maybe it is not that bad, but there is a huge amount of corn.

So I know you are all thinking, "who in their right mind would move to such a place?" Well, it really wasn't by choice. Charles is in the USAF, so home is where the Air Force sends us. So far we have laid claim to Montana, California, Ohio, Colorado, and Nebraska. I am sure the list will continue to grow.

Anyway, enough about me, I would really like to hear about the rest of you.
